To secure the cyber space from various DNS related security issues it is very important to setup such an organization called DNS-CERT. Then there is a single contact point for each and every CERT to liaise with to handle such issues , rather than trying to contacting non-responsive individual organizations scattered all over the world. So, when there is a DNS security related problem any one will be able to contact DNS-CERT and it is the responsibility of such a team to respond to reported issues in a positive manner. As Sri Lanka CERT we strongly believe that DNS-CERT will be a very important body to secure the cyber space from malicious activities related to DNS.
