Wanted to add my two cents on the fees for communities applying for TLDs.
To the point made previously regarding EOI applicants disclosing whether or not
they intend to file as a community, I believe that communities should be
subject to lower application fees than non-communities. That ICANN intends to
charge geographic communities or ethnic communities a $185,000 application fee
in order for those groups to have access to their own top level domain is
unreasonable.
