The British Brands Group provides the voice for brand manufacturers in the
UK. 

 

We wish to echo the submission of AIM (the European Brands Association) in
opposing the concept of pre-registration and expressions of interest. This
reflects the concerns we hold over the significant unresolved issues
relating to new gTLDs, particularly in relation to trade mark protection and
malicious conduct. These issues cast an unhelpful shadow over the EOI
proposals.
