To the Members of the Board of ICANN:

I fully support the proposed points in the ³Expression of Interest² model by
Icann.

Being the patron of the Bayern Connect GmbH I support their effort to create
a .BAYERN top level domain. The top level domain will provide a platform for
Bavaria¹s rich cultural heritage on the Internet.

Icann¹s ³Expression of Interest² model will contribute to the swift
implementation of the new gTLD programme. It will give Icann an idea of the
scale of the upcoming application round. It will provide applicants with a
rough timeline to which they can adjust their business plans.

I am looking forward to seeing the implementation of new top level domains
move ahead and would like to thank Icann for hearing public comments in this
matter.
