My name is Cristina Ledesma and I am Security and Continuity of Business
Manager at Citibank Uruguay, I am a teacher in several Universities and I
am part of local Directive Board of ISACA (Information System Audit and
Control Association) chapter.

I found this material very interesting and I am very glad to review and
contribute to this community especially now that Internet IP numbers are
migrated to the new generation.

I found your mission, objectives, procedures and strategy very clear an
focuses in stability, flexibility and security about Internet records
management but I would like to know if it possible to broad the scope
referring to Security. I mean if you can act as one advisor of Good
Practices in Security recommending Internet community some security
protocols as SSL for example in order to "raise the bar" related to
Internet Security status.

I know this is very difficult and depending on countries authorities and
state of the art but I think it is time that some global movements start to
happen in order to enhance global Security and that is our responsibility
as citizens of Information Society, Security professional and from very
prestigious entities as ICANN we can hope to be succeed.

I hope this contribute to this initiative.
