[dssa] chat transcript and Singapore-meeting slides from today's call
hi all, a couple of apologies are in order for the logistics on the call today. -- it turns out the reminders for the call weren't going out -- so you only got one, and it was quite close to the call itself. -- i meant to send the agenda the day before (that's my norm, i screwed up) -- we didn't have the Adobe room set up to carry the audio of the call, so those who didn't have telephone connections couldn't hear what we were saying on the call. needless to say, we'll get all those things fixed for the next time around. sorry about that. here's a copy of the chat room for the call -- many thanks to Cheryl for acting as informal scribe to keep people up to speed on the conversation. i've also attached the three slides we prepared to describe the Singapore activities. note the photo of the "DSSA" sticker on the second page. we are thinking that these could go on your lanyards and would serve to identify your fellow working-group members at the meeting. the goal being to reach out and get to know each other informally. i will wear a huge number of these stickers -- if you see a person like that, it's me and i'll be happy to give you a sticker for your very own. :-) mikey - - - - chat transcript - - - - - Greg Aaron: Hi, everyone CLO: Hi Greg Arturo Servin: Hi, I do not have a phone, but I will try to follow the chat and the slides Rossella Mattioli: Instead of the phone you can use skype as I am doing CLO: Arturo we could get the AC room set up so the presenter / Chair is being captured (recorded) in tne room and so able to be heard just like in a webinar I wonder of that would help CLO: move to p 26 Arturo Servin: Good, I will get my headphones CLO: talking about how we will buld 'concensus' CLO: Kristina cn you sort mikey out woth a Mike to record option please... so Arturo has some audio access Kristina Nordstrom: I'm sorry Cheryl I can't do that now, this room does not include audio CLO: GRRRR CLO: AC rooms have the function surely that is not only a pre set for csll set up ???
