If you fix Whois so it is more like the .au whois system (search for 
google.com.au at whois.ausregistry.com.au), there wouldn't be a problem. Not 
only is there privacy because of the limited public information, but if a 
computer robot tried to get it automatically, it couldn't because of the 
CAPTCHA. If it tried a port 43 whois, it doesn't return details like email etc, 
and requires it to go to whois.ausregistry.com.au and enter the CAPTCHA.

If automated computer systems couldn't get Email addresses etc, there would be 
no problem. Fix whois, fix two problems.
