I assume the implementation of IDNs would not cause any browser compatibility 
problems as browsers can certainly receive input of non-English characters, but 
wouldn't it be a huge leap ahead if the IDNs were some how designed so that old 
browsers would not support this?  (Is this possible?)  All individuals who will 
soon be desiring to access websites with IDNs would be forced to update their 
browsers - potentially the largest global browser update in the history of the 
internet.  Problematic?  Probably in some regards, but think of the potential 
for web standards, security, implementation of new technologies, etc...  This 
could be amazing.
