The revised draft of the RFI is attached, incorporating comments from
the confcall today.  It is now up to Staff to finalize and recirculate
as Jothan drafts the FAQ.  Goal is to have final versions approved on
next week's call so they can be distributed the week of 8/13, for 30
days. 

Constituencies should develop any questions they would like to ask their
members in addition to the RFI, so those additional questions can be
asked at the same time.

I would suggest we put the "have you used the AGP" question immediately
after question 4 in the consolidated version and also spell out the AGP
like
(previously) under A in the following section.
I've done so in the attached version, while also attempting to shorten
the question a bit.

question, it was simply a matter of timing.   Olof had his redraft to me

Mike,

I'm sure you're not surprised that I'm writing about my "have you used
the AGP" question.  I recognize that my "have you used the AGP" question
was not perfectly artfully drafted.  However, I do think it gets to an
important point that we've been hearing about -- who uses the AGP and
why.  

While I suspect there's widespread agreement among the members of the ad
hoc group that individual consumers are NOT using the AGP as a way to
get a refund for mis-typed domain names, we won't know that that's true
unless we ask.  One option is to create some statement that acknowledges
no one uses it for that reason, but if we got that route we'll be
criticized for not asking the question.

I'm open to editing it, but I think the substance and the information it
seeks to get need to remain.
