Marika and Group:

This morning I met with the individual who authored the presentation
concerning the Ryan Haight act.  In fact, this presentation covered
multiple recent legislation, and there are no "safe harbor" provisions
within the act.

So, in light of this clarification, I recommend we omit this subject
from the final report.  Thoughts from the group?

 Please find attached a revised version of chapter 8 and 9 that has in
track changes the proposed changes made by James and Mike, as well as
suggested edits provided by Rod (see
http://forum.icann.org/lists/gnso-ff-pdp-may08/msg01037.html) -- Rod,
please do check whether I have reflected your proposed changes correctly
and in the right places. I thought it might be easier to review the
proposed changes in this way, instead of incorporating them in the draft
final report.
 
 In addition, an updated version of the draft final report has been
posted on the wiki
(https://st.icann.org/pdp-wg-ff/index.cgi?fast_flux_pdp_wg) that
includes a new annex VI on the Mannheim formula as proposed by Joe, and
a reference to this annex that has inserted on page 50 (please provide
your feedback on whether you think this is an appropriate place).
 
 As a reminder, some of the other outstanding action items are:
 
 
+ Provide feedback on where reference to Ryan Haight act has been
included in the public comments categorization document so that group
can decide whether to leave it on or take it out (Marika) - a reference
to the Ryan Haight Act can be found in section 4.a of the public
comments categorization document. 
+ Provide draft language for inclusion in chapter 9 regarding best
practices and role of ICANN (Ihab) 
+ Review proposed changes for chapter 8 and 9 (All) 
+ Send email to Mike Rodenbaugh asking whether he would like to propose
an alternative text for section 5.8/5.9 (Marika) - Done, but no feedback
received to date.
