hi all,

here's the weekly status report -- note to James and Michele, i've stuck you 
with a few "get the survey out to the Registrars" action items.  don't let it 
be said that Mikey doesn't give great holiday gifts.  :-)

speaking of which -- we will not meet next week, picking up the conversation 
again on 5-January.
