[gnso-idealprocess-st] Ideal Process Sub-Team Meeting - outstanding items
Dear All, As a reminder, the IRTP Part C Ideal Process Sub-Team meeting is scheduled for today, Monday 21 May, at 19.00 UTC. I believe the following items are still outstanding for consideration by the sub-team (first three items as noted by James in a previous email): * We must review this process in conjunction with locking procedures, such as Reasons for Denial #8 and #9 (or #7 and #8 in the new policy after Jun 1). Should there be restrictions on how frequently a Change of Registrant can occur? Should there be restrictions relative to the create date / transfer date? Note that the status quo allows registrars to deny inter-registrar transfers. Is that sufficient security to thwart hijacking? * We can ask the larger WG or the community (in our Initial Report, or the Prague Workshop) for feedback on the Same Policy / Different Policy question. Or we can make a "Draft Recommendation" and gauge the response. There is no "right" answer, so there is a certain point beyond which further data gathering is no longer useful. Are we at that point? * PDP Working Groups are now asked to provide a statement of "expected impact" of their policy recommendations. We must decide whether this should be done by this subteam, a new subteam, or the WG as a whole. Again, we can expect that some feedback will be offered in response to our Initial Report and/or at the meeting in Prague. * Review Barbara's email regarding Auth Info code (see http://forum.icann.org/lists/gnso-irtpc/msg00235.html) * Review Rob Golding's email re. process for change of control (see http://forum.icann.org/lists/gnso-irtpc/msg00231.html) * Finalize proposed ideal process and related recommendation (incl. possible questions / items for further comment as part of the Initial Report) Attached you'll find the latest version that I could find of the Ideal Process Principles. Mikey, could you also share the latest version of the mind map relating to this discussion? If I missed anything, please feel free to add. With best regards, Marika Attachment:
