Hello All,
At least from a draft new gTLD policy perspective, it would be possible
for an organisation to submit multiple applications that contain the
desired strings.
At an implementation level, it could be possible to have an application
fee that incorporates the cost to review the applicant, and the cost to
review the string criteria for each string.
There presently has not been any discussion about different fees
depending on whether an operator chooses to alias two strings, versus
the operator choosing to treat registrations at the second level in each
TLD separately.
E.g It might cost $50,000 to submit an application for one string, and
$10,000 for each additional string in the application.
All strings would be subject to the public vetting process.
Note that originally the registrar accreditation process did have an
additional fee for each registry that the registrar was accredited to
use.
