Thomas and Berry,

I wanted to let you know that we will provide you with our input, but
unfortunately, there are still a couple of areas where we need further
discussion.

We will provide our input as soon as we can, but I don’t think we will be able
to make the noon ET deadline – so my apologies.

Best,

Elisa

Thomas and Berry — you ask a fair question, and deserve an answer. But the BC
has been consumed with multiple public comments over the past several weeks and
IGO-NGO was something we could not get to.

However, looking at the v2 document, it seems we might be able to rely on
previous BC positions to give you and indication. Let me review and ask the BC
Executive Committee for approval.

Will do our best to respond before your call today.

Regards,

Steve

Hi Zahid and Steve,

Has the BC been able to consider any of the proposed protections for the
IGO-INGOs? It will be helpful if the BC can weigh in on these so that we can
accurately reflect consensus levels for the WG in preparation for when the
Final Report is submitted to the Council.

I’d appreciate hearing your position.

Thank you. B
