To be clear, I didn’t know either.  I had expected to stay in the NCSG 
indefinitely.    Otherwise, I may not have stood for the office of Vice Chair 
or at least disclosed the possible conflict to Anne at that time.

Thanks Amr.  Can David Cake participate for NCUC or is he also tied up?

Separately, one thing I wanted to make clear is that the office of Vice Chair 
is an important one.  For example, I ran all drafts of previous letters and 
reports past Lori first for her comments.  At the time, I had no idea that she 
was transitioning or even interviewing for a job at INTA or that she would 
ultimately join the IPC.

Thus, I am certainly hoping for a primary member to volunteer for this Vice 
Chair post as soon as possible.
