  avri:This matches something I found over the last week while doing a bunch of 
transfers, that has little to do with the Transfer process as defined by ICANN 
per se - even iif you understand the process, it is sometimes VERY difficult to 
find the right screens on the registrar interfaces to actually complete the 
process.
  avri:so we assume 2 months has passed between the examples?
  Mikey O'Connor:i think the 60 day deal is only for transfers between 
registrars

  Bladel:Registrars are more comfortable with internal transfers not being 
hijacks

info

stop.

security of registrars?

saying this is making things complicated...

  Bladel:Correct.  We might recommend some equivalent best practices....

process similarity - so customers arent caught by surprises

"interoperable"

  Barbara Steele - RySG:It seems to me that registrants have the greatest 
degree of exposure from an inter-registrar transfer where the 'ownership' of 
the domain is changing.  Given this,  it would seem like having some baseline 
requirements to ensure that a minimum some security measures are included would 
be wise.
  Michele Neylon:Barbara - this is why the lack of any policy in this area 
concerns some of us
  Mikey O'Connor:+1 Barbara -- minimums, using shared terminology

  Michele Neylon:That's already being covered in the latest RAA update / 
recommendations
