[gnso-metrep-wg] ACTION REQUIRED - Complete a DOODLE POLL - Scheduling the first meeting of the GNSO Metrics & Reporting DT

Dear All,

 

Thank you for joining the GNSO Metrics & Reporting Charter Drafting Team
(DT).  This DT has been tasked by the GNSO Council to develop a charter for
a Working Group to address issues that have been raised in Final Issue
Report on the Uniformity of Reporting
(http://gnso.icann.org/en/issues/uofr-final-31mar13-en.pdf).  The Drafting
Team is expected to develop a Charter on the basis of the GNSO Working Group
Guidelines
<http://gnso.icann.org/council/annex-1-gnso-wg-guidelines-08apr11-en.pdf>
taking into account the Final Issue Report.  At a minimum, the GNSO Council
expects that the subsequent Working Group would provide recommendations on
the following:

 

1.      A set of principles that may compliment any GNSO policy efforts
related to metric/data requirements to better inform the policy development
process;

2.      A process for requesting metrics and reports both internal to ICANN
or external, including GNSO contracted parties;

3.      A framework for distributing metrics and reports to Working Groups,
the GNSO Council and the GNSO as a whole;

4.      Changes, if any, to existing Working Group Guidelines and work
product templates 

 

In order to facilitate the scheduling of a first meeting of the DT, please

We'll be looking at finding a weekly time for the DT's meeting (for 60 min),
so please fill in the doodle poll with that in mind (you may note in the
comment section if you cannot make a specific time / date only for the first
meeting).

 

In preparation for the first meeting, please take a moment to review the
Final Issue Report, including the charter template, which have been posted
on the DT workspace (see https://community.icann.org/display/marwg/).  

 

As the election of a DT Chair is expected to take place during the first
meeting, volunteers are encouraged to express their interest ahead of the
meeting.

 

We'll be using Adobe Connect to facilitate the meeting.  For those of you
