CCT:

This is just a quick note to report on the status of Sub-Team: Task 1
(Steve, Chris, Ken) activities.

We had a productive hour+ conference call on 22 April at 1900 UTC.

We discussed the Business Requirements document that was produced last
September and took a look at several existing "Drupal" sites including
http://atlarge.icann.org as well as www.drupal.org. We noted features,
capabilities, and requirements that were also contained in the requirements
document.

We agreed upon the following Action Items:

1) Ken will reach out to Marc Salvatierra, Ritsa Panagis, and Joyce
Thomas to discuss a specific approach that the sub-team intends to use in
creating a set of high-level business requirements for Phase I (the "doable"
set) of the project.

2) Assuming a "green" light, we propose to begin developing those
requirements with Ken (Staff) assuming the heavy drafting tasks, supported
by Steve and Chris. Target completion -- end of May for review by the CCT.

3) Our concept is that the Bus Reqmts doc will be "dynamic" vs.
"static." Immediately following production/approval of the 1st draft, our
sub-team wants to begin engaging with Marc in a prototyping activity the
goal of which would be to produce a working GNSO "beta" site that could be
used to illustrate real capabilities based on the requirements and feature
set outlined. To the extent that any actual prototyping work informs
changes to the requirements, we would dynamically alter/amend them, as
appropriate.

We will be prepared to extrapolate on the brief summary during our larger
team meeting next Wednesday, but we wanted to give you a sense of where we
are and our next immediate steps.

For anyone who wishes to listen to the MP3 recording, it can be found at:

the recording was not yet posted when this email was sent).
