Dear Work Team Members,

Please refer to the attached document in response to Action Item #4 from the
15 April meeting:

4.  Rob will look into whether the policy team's internal guidance document
on translation could be circulated to the team.

Please note that this document was an initial unilateral effort by the
policy team last Fall in response to a growing organizational and community
interest (well beyond the GNSO) in broader circulation of documents.  It was
intended to be a shorter-term/immediate effort that would be re-evaluated
over time based on real world experience, budget realities and future
community/work team input.  The Work Team may wish to focus on the policy
document's overall goals and scope of any translation efforts, rather than
on its policy-oriented guidance.
