I had todays call pencilled in to start now, but have been informed its 1

This is a note of convenience to all members of the GNSO Council Operations
Work Team.  An important deliverable of our work is the formal review and
update where applicable the GNSO Council Rules of Procedure (RoP).  This is
a document that requires updating in order to seat the new Council members
as part of the upcoming ICANN meeting in October in Seoul, Korea.  Various
sections of the current RoP intertwine with work being performed with ICANN
by-laws updating.  By-laws updating has progressed to the point where our
work team now has clarity of the specific RoP sections we need to be
focusing our attention upon.

 

Today's call begins a discussion on these particular sections of the current
RoP: 4.2, 4.3, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.5, 5.6, and 5.7.  Our aim as a work team is
to finalize these sections for review by the OSC.  All work team members are
encouraged to review these sections and if you have comment, to provide them
now.  If you are able to attend our teleconference today, the time is 15:00
UTC.  Our work team has now moved its schedule to weekly meetings in August,
each Wednesday of this month.  Those unable to attend the weekly
teleconferences may also provide input to the sections being worked upon via
our e-mail list.  

 

Call-in details for today's meeting are contained below.  Again I want to
stress that if you have input to these sections, now is the time to
participate.  As the identified sections of the RoP are felt completed by
those participating in the work team, each will be sent to the OSC for its
review.
