ALAC Statement on the Proposed New GNSO Policy Development Process
Dear Marika, I am proud to transmit to you the ALAC Statement on the Proposed New GNSO Policy Development Processon behalf of the At-Large Advisory Committee. The attached Statement constitutes the official response of the At-Large Advisory Committee (ALAC) on the recent public consultation on the Proposed New GNSO Policy Development Process. The Statement was initially drafted by Alan Greenberg, At-Large Advisory Committee (ALAC) liaison to the Generic Names Supporting Organization (GNSO), and Dave Kissoondoyal, AFRALO ALAC representative. A wiki workspace on the Statement of the ALAC on the Proposed New GNSO Policy Development Process was posted on 28 March 2011. On that same day, a call for comments was sent to the ALAC-Announce mailing list. After incorporating comments received, a second version (the present document) was created on 30 March 2011. On 31 March 2011, I asked the At-Large Staff to start a five-day online vote to ratify the document. At-Large Staff will notify you of the vote's results as soon as the voting period closes. Kind regards, Olivier MJ Crepin-Leblond ALAC Chair Attachment:
