Thanks, Jeff, for your feedback. I have tried to address your comments in the 
updated version that is posted on the wiki 
(https://st.icann.org/post-expiration-dn-recovery-wg/), dated 12 May. In 
relation to the description of RGP, I think I have found a more accurate / 
neutral description that was used in a recent advisory that hopefully addresses 
your concerns. Note, that the description that was included in the previous 
version comes from the ICANN Glossary 
(http://www.icann.org/en/general/glossary.htm#R). If others agree that this 
description is not accurate and/or neutral enough, I’m happy to suggest an 
alternative wording based on what the WG agrees should go in the PEDNR Initial 
Report Glossary.

As a reminder, the objective is to submit the Initial Report in time for public 
consideration at the ICANN meeting in Brussels (deadline for publication 31 
May), with a public information / consultation session in Brussels (timing to 
be confirmed), followed by the opening of a 20 day public comment period as 
prescribed by the by-laws after the ICANN meeting in Brussels. Although some 
additional work will need to be done on the WG survey chapter which will 
include recommendations / options for consideration by the ICANN Community, you 
are strongly encouraged to already review the other sections of the draft 
Initial Report and share your feedback with the mailing list. I would like to 
propose a deadline of 21 May for edits / comments on the current sections of 
the draft report so the WG will have a last opportunity to review and discuss 
the edits proposed during its meeting on 25 May.

Dear All,

An updated version of the draft Initial Report has been posted on the wiki 
(https://st.icann.org/post-expiration-dn-recovery-wg/) for your review. The 
main updates are those to the chapter on the registrar survey to reflect the 
final results and the glossary. I have started adding terms to the glossary 
with definitions taken from other parts of the report and the ICANN glossary. 
The chapter on the WG survey and options for consideration will need to be 
integrated into the report once the survey has been finalized and a poll has 
been conducted, but in the meantime you are encouraged to review the other 
parts of the report and provide your edits / comments to the mailing list. 
Noting a number of comments on the role of resellers that have been submitted 
to the wiki (see bottom of the page), adding a paragraph on the discussions 
that the WG had in relation to resellers might be helpful (suggestions would be 
appreciated!).
