Marika Konings:I think he was referring to next week's meeting? Marika Konings:or at least I am not aware of any meeting (but it could have also been an ALAC internal call concerning the topic? Amr Elsadr:Ah, right. Thanks Marika. I was wondering if there was another call I was missing. Greg Shatan:It conflicted with the ICG call (which is private this week). Alan Greenberg:The conglict was the IANA ICG, but at the last moment, they decided to make it a closed call. Amr Elsadr:Right. I got confused about which call was being referred to. Apologies folks. Alan Greenberg:CONGLICT - a great new word! Amr Elsadr:Although this isn't a principle, but a webinar detailing the PDP recommendations prior to the IRT beginning its work may be a good idea. Especially for anyone who wasn't on the PDP WG. Avri Doria:better that it be the liaison Avri Doria:in collaboration with staff contacts. Amr Elsadr:Is there a reason why the council liaison should be that person as opposed to any other member of the IRT? Amr Elsadr:What if the PDP WG's chair is on the IRT? Stephanie Perrin:Have we asked the liaison folks if they like the idea of being responsible for this? Marika Konings:Amr is the first official Council liaison to an IRT ;-) Amr Elsadr:@Stephanie: There would be a different council liaison for every IRT. Stephanie Perrin:Ok thanks. Amr Elsadr:The "thick" whois pdp wg mailing list has just been "retired". But there are many members of the WG on the IRT.
