hi all,

this is a note to folks i've been conversing with over the last week or so.  
we're dropping off the Internet and cell-phone coverage for the next few days.  
so feel free to send me email or leave voice-mail but i probably won't be 
responding until Tuesday (Feb 3rd) or Wednesday next week.  wish me luck -- 
this will be the longest i've been off the Internet in 10 years.
