I know a call or two has been issued for volunteers to help with various
aspects of GNSO reform. Work is gearing up, if not already under way.

Because so much of ICANN's policy development impacts registrars,
there's particular interest in the Policy Development Process Team
(PDPT) and its efforts to revamp the way policies are formed. (You can

The current team includes the following people:

Mike Rodenbaugh - CBUC
Jeff Neuman - Ry
Alan Greenberg - ALAC
Avri Doria - NCA
J. Scott Evans - IPC
Greg Ruth - ISP
Tony Harris - ISP
Gabriel Pineiro - NCUC
Liz Williams - CBUC
Marilyn Cade - CBUC
James Bladel - Registrar
Sophia Bekele - Individual 

Many of the names here (and associated agendas) are familiar to
registrars, and there's a concern that registrars are under-represented
in an area where there's so much potential impact to us. No one has
spare time to throw around, to be sure, but the ExCom would like to ask
for more registrar participation in an area that will be critically
important to our businesses. I'm sure James Bladel would appreciate
some help in carrying the registrars' load.
