Thanks for the explanation.  Sorry to be a pest, but can I assume that
the only issue you have with the charters then is related to the
incorporation of the work team rules.  I want to make sure I have a full
list of the issues remaining.

 

We look forward to seeing your response and if we cannot resolve prior
to next Wednesday on e-mail, we will keep the call as scheduled.

I cannot support these documents without further discussion and
modification re definitions of consensus.  This work is simply too
important to leave these decisions to the discretion of the chairs, with
such minimal guidance.  

 

I'll review the note that Liz sent after the last meeting, and will
respond in greater detail to the list (and with a concrete proposal)
later this week.

As discussed at our meeting last week, we are issuing a consensus call
on the initial Charters of the PDP  and Working Group Work Teams as well
as the work team rules until such time that the Work Teams are fully
constituted and can review those documents to provide additional input
to the PPSC.  

 

Please remember that all PPSC decisions are made using a "full consensus
of the members" process which means that all members (through their
primary representatives) must indicate their support for the consensus
call to be carried.
