All, As we discussed during today's meeting, please send me by 2:30 PM EST tomorrow (Wednesday) all suggested revisions and changes to the survey. Any revisions or changes received after that time will not be included. Set forth below are the changes that my notes indicate we agreed upon during the meeting today. 1. Complete elimination of questions 1, 2, 3, 21, 22, 35, and 36. 2. Addition of a new question (after what is now question 4): Are rights protection mechanisms necessary in the introduction of new TLDs? 3. A section for general comments will be added at the end. Questions 23-26 will be deleted as questions, but respondents will be asked to cover those questions in their comments. 4. Format will be an pdf file that permits respondents to "check a box." 5. Liz has graciously volunteered to be the recipient of completed surveys; her name and email address will be provided on the survey. She has also agreed to (a) rework the questions to make them consistent with standard survey methodology and eliminate any implied bias; (b) add another intro paragraph. 6. In addition to constituencies, surveys will also be sent to the ccNSO, the GAC, and the ALAC. The names of PRO WG members will be identified in the survey. 7. Survey responses will be due 10 days after the survey is distributed (likely to be 10 April). 8. Please review it and circulate any suggested revisions before our meeting on Tuesday. (It would be most helpful to circulate revisions in track changes, document comparison or pdf file of handwritten revisions.) One obvious revision is to revise the order of the questions.
