hi,

So sorry. The meeting had always been tentative. But I should have sent this message out on Thursday when we locked down the charter and the motion.

While it is not for me to say, I am always willing to have the meeting rotate. I am in Sweden this week and looking forward to our 23-01 Council meeting.

I will, once again, not be on the call - because of the hour of the call for me in Melbourne.

Had I have been, and hadn't been checking emails at this late hour I'd be pretty upset if the meeting was cancelled and I had previously organised to get up early to be on it. There needs to be a minimum amount of notice and I wouldn't have thought 10 hours was acceptable.

[insert lack of geographic forethought rant]

As I said, it is no matter. I won't be on it.

Thanks.

Hi,

We set this meeting as a fall back in case we did not have agreement
on the charter. We seem to do, so we don't kneed it for that purpose.

On the hand we could use it to actually talk about substantive issues
in the Registrants rights doc and other issues if so desired.

What does the group think? Meet this week or wait until after the
charter is discussed (and hopefully approved) in the council?

We should also start thinking about the coordinators (assuming the
charter gets approved). for the GNSO side, recent practice has been
for the group to pick and then the council to endorse (as opposed to a
top down selection process by the council). Of course the At-Large
side needs to determine its own process and i do not know what their
recent practice has been.

If we pick someone from the GNSO side, I can ask that this be endorsed
if/when the charter is approved. Recommendations? Volunteers?

thanks
a.
