Dear all,
In follow up of my action item re. the AGP Staff Implementation Report to the
GNSO Council; the information in this report is based on a staff assessment of
what information ICANN felt was important to collect.
The reason why domain names are deleted is supposed to be the basis for
exemption request that might be made by the registrar in the case of
'extraordinary circumstance'. ICANN does not at this point collect information
as to the 'why' for every individual AGP delete. In addition, it would not be
possible to know anything about those deletes that are made if the registrar's
overall AGP deletes number is below the threshold defined in the Policy, 10% of
net adds in a month or 50, whichever is greater.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
With best regards,
Marika
