Thanks Avri. Can you provide a link to (or attach) the document we will
be walking through tomorrow?

Subject: [gnso-restruc-dt] Meeting on tuesday

Hi,

Raimundo Beca will be joining our call tomorrow. He is on the SIC and
as I understand it, is the committee person responsible as liaison, for
some definite of liaison, to the restructuring/'improvement' process.

He has indicated that he may want to just listen for a while.

My plan for the agenda, is to do a walk through of the Policy Staff
suggested changes using the latest edited version of it. With each
issue, I would like to determine if:

- there is a general view on how the council should proceed with the
language. Perhaps all that is needed is wordsmithing on some of the
issues.
- there are interpretation or other questions we need answered by the
Board and the SIC
- there is constituency and community feedback required

At the end of the process, I hope we can have a motion (or motions) on
the changes we recommend to the bylaws so they can be voted on in
council and can sent into the Board approval process.

And in general we should come out of the meeting knowing what our next
steps are and who is doing them.

I want to keep this meeting to an hour, so there won't be time for
extended conversation on the issues. Any issue that requires a lot of
discussion among the council members for resolution will need to be
discussed on this list or, worst case, in another meeting.

Thanks,

a.
