Kim Davies in IANA conducted a search across all TLDs for the number of TLDs
that have at least one single-character delegation. The results of the
research can be found in the attached .txt files.

 

The survey checked 9540 possible combinations containing 26 letter
characters, 10 numbers, across 265 TLDs. The survey located 1225
single-character delegations. 63 TLDs had at least one single-character
delegation. The survey did not include wildcard responses, or
single-character IDNs.
