        The attached document lists the RN-WG volunteers for the five
subgroups needed in our 30-day extension.  Please note that more
volunteers are needed including volunteers for chair for the two small
subgroups, ICANN/IANA names and gTLD Names at the 2nd level.  Please
communicate which subgroups you are willing to be a member of and if you
are willing to chair either the ICANN/IANA group or the gTLD Names
group; it would be very helpful to complete the subgroup membership
rosters this week because each of the groups needs to get started this
week and certainly before our meeting next Wednesday.

         

        There is particular need for several volunteers to join the
Geographic/Geopolitical subgroup.  This is an area where it will be very
helpful to have as broad a representation as possible.

         

        It was generally agreed on our call today that no one person
should chair more than one group, that no one should be a member of more
than two groups and that that should only happen if someone is able to
commit the time needed to do so, and finally that people who have
particular interests on a specific issue should not be a chair.
