'constituency' appointments to Nominating Committee

To the Board,
One issue that becomes apparent when comparing the 4 SG charters is
that conditions for Nominating Committee membership will vary
depending on SG. In some cases this will still be invested in the
constituencies (CSG and NCSG), in one it is invested in Interest
Groups (Registrars SG) and in one in the Executive Committee (Registry
SG).
If the Board is making a decision to abolish the requirement for a
constituency substructure to the Stakeholder Groupings, such as seems
possible in the Contracted Parties House, then it seems that they must
at the same time decide on how the seats in the nominating committee
will be assigned and whether the methods proposed by the SGs are fair
and equivalent. Specific issues that might arise concern the number
of Interest Groups in the Registrars SG since they will not be Board
approved, and the number of seats the Board may ask the Registry
Executive Council to appoint.
Thank You
