Dear ICANN Board,
For CSG charter, Section 4.2 states clearly that any new members should go
through unanimous consent of three existing constituencies accepted by CSG and
the recognized constituencies have the veto power to “prospective registry,
registrar, re-seller or other domain name supplier interests”.
The membership criterion actually wall out any potential new members ways to
speak out. Moreover, can CSG further explain on the definition of
“prospective”? What are the judging criteria for the word? Can members of CSG
promise that they have never thought of or will think about turning to be a
“prospective”registry or one part of the TLD applicant body?
Sincerely yours,
Yang Yu
