Hi,

On the competition section, I am curious as to why the last comment ("although 
it was noted that a possible requirements for "thick" Whois would affect over a 
120 million domain name registrations.") was added.  I don't see how the number 
of entities affected has any impact on competition. I think we would need to 
explain that statement at the least.  Sorry if I missed discussion on that 
point.

Other than that, I thought the draft of the new Access to Whois Data section is 
fine (note the , in the 2.4% item.)

Per our meeting earlier this week, please find attached an updated version of 
the 'Access to Whois data' (formerly known as 'Accessibility') section.

As a reminder, some of you (Marc, Rick) volunteered to review the competition 
in registry services section and provide suggested edits (see latest version 
attached). With regard to the background to this topic, it was actually 
suggested in response to the Preliminary Issue Report by Ray Fassett (see 
http://forum.icann.org/lists/thick-whois-preliminary-report/msg00002.html for 
further information).

If you have any additional comments / edits, please feel free to share those 
with the mailing list.
