Colleagues,
A correction. Peter Dengate Thrush did not reverse his position on the
unilateral amendment question, one of the two topics of the January
WDC Consultancy, following up on the VI Webinar the week before Seoul,
and the Seoul meeting debate between Brian Cute and Richard Tindale,
until the Nairobi meeting, disclosed in the Board and Staff call to
the participants at "Nairobi West" in Reston in March.
As both were "in WDC" I conflated the two events, placing Peter's name
in a sequence with Kurt's, JJ's and Dan's, suggesting in error that
Peter's position on the unilateral amendment question, and therefore
the necessity of that as a tool for dealing with the Staff perceived
problem of registrar-as-registry gaming.
Eric
