Liz -

Thanks again to you and Glen for organizing last Wednesday's call.

While I will save extended commentary for our call tomorrow, here is my ranking of the studies before us. In my view, all seven categories of proposed study would be worth pursuing and, hence, the rankings below include my order of preference within each of the seven categories:

WHOIS Misuse Studies

Study 15

Study 1

Study 14

I don't think that Study 21 is worth undertaking

Compliance with Data Protection Laws

Study 24

Studies 16, 22, and 23 should somehow be combined

Availability of Privacy Services

Study 2

I don't think that Study 5 is worth undertaking

Demand and Motivation for Use of Privacy Services

Studies 18 and 19 could perhaps be combined

Study 17

Impact of Whois Data Protection on Crime and Abuse

Study 13

I don't think that Study 6 is worth undertaking

Proxy Registrar Compliance

Perhaps the timeliness aspects of Studies 3 and 20 can be combined

Metalitz comment

Study 12

Whois Data Accuracy

Study 8

I don't think that Study 11 is worth undertaking

I look forward to hearing where others have come out. As always, if you have questions, do not hesitate to let me know.
