Here are notes for today's Whois Study Hypotheses meeting. People with
action items are in bold font.

1. Meetings were confirmed for Tuesdays at 15:00 UTC [08:00 PDT
(California), 10:00 CDT (Cedar Rapids), 11:00 EDT (Washington DC), 16:00
BST (London), 17:00 CEST (Brussels), etc.]. After the initial meeting,
meetings will be planned for 1.5 hours.
2. Hypotheses were drafted for each of these studies in Area 1:
Whois misuse studies (#1, #14, #15 and #21 and GAC #2). Liz distributed
a redline version of the hypotheses table and also posted the revisions
to the wiki.
3. The following group members volunteered to review the original
study submissions, extract or draft hypotheses for each study in the
area indicated and distribute those to the email list as soon as
possible before the next meeting: James Blidel - Area 2, Compliance with
data protection laws and Registrar Accreditation Agreement (#16, #22,
#23, #24, #12, #13, #14); Steve DelBianco - Area 3, Availability of
privacy services (#2, #5, #7, #8); and Tim Ruiz - Area 4, Demand and
motivation for use of privacy services (#17, #18, #19, #9, #10).
4. Liz will prepare an expanded table that shows the original
hypotheses stated by the proposers of the studies.
5. Those who were absent from the 8 July call should review the
hypotheses drafted for Area 1 and provide any comments on the list prior
to the next meeting; a brief amount of time will be allocated to
discussion of Area 1 hypotheses on 15 July.
6. Those who were on the 8 July call, should review the Area 1
hypotheses as drafted and communicate any input to the list prior to the
next meeting.
7. Next meeting: Tuesday, 15 July, 15:00 UTC, duration 1.5 hours.
8. Glen will send out meeting details and a link to the original
study submissions.

Please feel free to communicate any key items I may have omitted. If
there are any questions, please feel free to ask them.

Thanks, Chuck
