I'm confused and troubled by this statement.  The GNSO Council has never 
agreed to cancel out the work of the previous whois task force and its 
decision.  The above statement appears to come out of thin air.  We are 
obliged to adhere to what the Council has agreed to and the Council has 
never agreed that the status quo of WHOIS will be the result.
