[gnso-whois-wg] Comments on WWG report draft 1.5

Following are my comments on WWG report draft 1.5 :
1. My apologies for limited participation in the teleconfs, owing to conflicts with previously scheduled teleconfs at the same hour.
2. Line 81 - Section 1. - The heading "'Balancing Personal Privacy and the Public Interest" is a strongly biased statement and is objectionable in this report. Personal privacy is everyone's right; it cannot be balanced against the public interest. An appropriate heading might be: "Balancing the public interest in the inherent right of privacy against other claims related to the public interest."
3. Lines 87-95 - This paragraph represents a similar and unacceptable bias against personal privacy. Personal privacy is a value - it is not a "private interest".
4. The assignment of "Agreed" status to a number of propositions does not appear to be consistent with the concept "broad agreement" within the WG. Specifically, I do not agree with the following sections:
Section 2, subsections 2, 3 and 4
Section 3, subsections 2 and 3
Section 4
Section 5, subsection 2
Section 6, subsections 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6.
