AT&T's Comments on the New gTLD Applicant Guidebook
> To: Paul Twomey and Peter Dengate Thrush > Co-Chairs, ICANN President's Strategy Committee > > Re: AT&T Comments in Response to the New gTLD Applicant Guidebook > AT&T has reviewed the "New gTLD Program: Draft Applicant Guidebook" (Guidebook) and offers a number of comments that address the overall concept and processes proposed to introduce new gTLDs. AT&T has submitted copies of its comments in all modules and asks that its comments be considered in all relevant modules. AT&T commends ICANN for undertaking an extensive dialogue with the affected stakeholders, in order to create the basis for significant improvements to the proposed draft process described in the Guidebook. AT&T's comments propose a two staged approach to the introduction of further new gTLDs and country code IDNs, which is described in more detail in the submitted comments. As the process of addressing community concerns continues within ICANN, AT&T looks forward to providing further comments and suggestions regarding the introduction of new gTLDs and IDNs. > Sincerely, > > > Jeff Brueggeman > > <<ATT ICANN gTLD Comments 12-15-08.doc>> Attachment:
