objection to removal of price controls
I strongly object to the removal of pricing controls in the draft for the contract for the new .anything TLDs The main reason is the possibility for this to overflow in the TLDs I do care about such as .com due to the equal treatment clauses in those contracts. There has been public outcry over these efforts to create pricing like in .tv before. Stop creating such backdoors to get it in anyway and abolish the practice once and for all. For all I care: please don't build the .anything: there is no need, it'll only cost us all more money to protect our trademarks without any gain but for the registrars and ICANN itself. |
