A cordial note to the GNSO Council

Dear Councilors,

You have solicited feedback from the public.  In my
view, the public only wants to know the following:

1.  What do you recommend?
2.  Why do you recommend it?
3.  What arguments have been raised in opposition to
the recommendations?
4.  Are there any implementation concerns?
5.  Will any parties be potentially impacted by a
particular recommendation?

The document that you have provided rarely offers a
rationale for the recommendations put forth, and it
suffers from being far too lengthy and tedious to read
-- seriously, how many members of the public will
willingly take the time to work through a 100+ page
document? 

I believe that a re-write is warranted, and that
greater attention should be paid to the expression of
the rationales that underlie your recommendations.
