If ICANN must capitulate to the demands of the pornography industry,
by establishing a TLD for them, please do not do so with a symbol,
such as the triple x's. Insist that is represented with a descriptive
term or lettering, as with all other TLD's. Probably .porn
In other words call it what it is. Are they ashamed of that term?
Using the symbolism that is commonly associated with the
industry is tantamount to glorifying them. If you thing it
warrants glorification then why would there be age restrictions
on such things.
How about reserving the use of x's such as 46xx, the genetic
nomenclature for human females, to wholesome purposes.
