Please do not support the creation of a XXX domain

Members of the Board

Please don't establish a .xxx domain. For reasons listed below, I oppose the 
establishment of such a domain. Rampant pornography is already a greedy 
negative influence on our society feeding the gluttonous lusts of those 
entrapped by it. The recent exposure of Tiger Woods behavior into such 
territory exemplifies its destructiveness. He allowed himself to be lured into 
a selfish life that fed the lusts of himself and those who seek to make $ of 
off it's prisoners. The fatalities: weak and ill informed men, women, children, 
husbands, wives, mom's and dad's...people...women who think they might not have 
any other options or worth than to be an object for someone's fantasies, 
families whose members get sucked into it sacrificing their own well being and 
the trust of the family unit, youth who 
waste precious time caught in a world that will never add to their lives but 
instead will steal from them, real interpersonal relationship skills are 
sacrificed and in its place a fully self-serving activity. Don't add to the 
problem by adding an additional place...all organized, one spot shopping that 
would most likely increase the lure.

Neither ICANN nor the company urging the establishment of this new domain are 
arguing that the .XXX domain would clean up the .COM domain and require all 
pornographers to move to .XXX.  The .COM domain is a cash cow for pornographers 
and they are not leaving it.  ICANN has no enforcement powers to make them 
leave and thus clean up .COM.  Pornographers would simply expand to .XXX and 
maintain their current .COM sites, perhaps doubling the number of porn sites 
and doubling their menace to society.

Please do not create a .XXX domain.
