forbidding .xxx = jousting at windmills

Dear ICM,
I see the effort to forbid .xxx domains as futile and a waste of time and
money. Creating a red light district for pornography on the internet isn't
going to change the amount or availability of smut, just its location. What
good is that?
If this business were brick-and-mortar, those who would clean up the
neighborhood would zone sexually-oriented businesses as restricted to
commercial-industrial, away from families and children. It makes no sense that
the same persons want pornography kept in the mainstream .com/.net/.org/.edu
domains rather than restricted to commercial-industrial .xxx domains.
Sincerely in Christ,
Brian Eargle
