.xxx domain

Dear Mr. Beckstrom,

The panel of ICANN was wrong in its decision.  There should not be a .xxx
domain on the internet.  Pornography destroys lives and families.  It turns
sex from something beautiful to something ugly and dangerous.  It leads to
violent crimes against women and children and abusive behaviors; and is
increasingly used by women also.  It is dangerous and should not be allowed
to proliferate.

 

My sister had a neighbor who abused at least two little girls about the age
of seven years old.  He was addicted to child pornography.  It is an illness
and it spreads and destroys everyone that comes in contact with it as well
as innocent victims of those who are aroused by it.

 

I support Option #3 of the March 26, 2010 process options submitted by ICANN
for public comment.

 

ICANN should vote to adopt the dissenting opinion of the Panel's Declaration
on the basis that the Board thinks that the Panel's majority opinion was
wrong and that the Board's conduct was consistent with ICANN's Bylaws and
Articles of Incorporation.
