Dear ICANN,
Have we not learned? A colony was
created in the mid 1800's to place
criminals in an environment all their
own in Australia (see the website
Convicts and the British colonies in
Australia) The idea was a great flop
and Australia has been paying for all
of their lives. If you create a XXX
domain, it will attract the attention
of every minor and encourage rebellion
in every family in the world. If you
consider the future of your children,
this idea is one of destruction. The
lives of our children are fragile
already. Please encourage them to
live a life they can look back on and
and teach to their children. We like
Australia will never see the day that
we can live this down.
I support Option #3 of the March 26,
2010 process options submitted by
ICANN for public comment.
ICANN should vote to adopt the
dissenting opinion of the Panel's
Declaration on the basis that the
Board thinks that the Panel's majority
opinion was wrong and that the Board's
conduct was consistent with ICANN's
Bylaws and Articles of Incorporation.
Sincerely,
Pat McMurray
