Application for the .XXX sTLD

Regarding this issue, I believe that restricting adult-oriented websites to
the .xxx would make blocking these types of sites within an organization or
even in a home much easier. Some of these companies have gotten creative and
deceptive in using domains to obtain hits. A perfect example is
http://www.whitehouse.com. This is easily mistakable with the home of the US
President http://www.whitehouse.gov. Give registrars the right to prohibit
adult-oriented materials on other domains and rights to other tlds that
include such materials to revoke ownership. This would make software such as
NetNanny more efficient and give parents peace of mind knowing that the
chances of their children accidentally choosing an adult website are now
minimal. Adult websites are often showing up in very mundane searches and
adding this tld would remove this problem by improving safer searching.
Thank you for your considering of this letter.
