Petition for the creation on a .XXX URL with over 290,000 members

Dear ICANN,

I have been following this Cause on Facebook for nearly two years which can be 
found at http://www.causes.com/causes/179734 and it has nearly 300,000 
verifiable members supporting the creation of a top level domain for adult 
content.


I have also seen the anti-pornography comments flooding into this forum from 
certain groups, yet no-one has pointed out the existing of a group with an 
alternative viewpoint such as this Cause . Whilst it appears the majority of 
members of the petition are generally far removed from being "supporters" of 
online pornography, at least they seem recognize its legitimate right to exist 
and preference for it to be adequately labeled to prevent unwanted exposure to 
it.

I though I would bring the existence of this huge petition to ICANNs attention 
so that it could, at least, serve as a counter-balance to many of the comments 
being submitted to this forum as it strikes me that this sensible and 
realisticviewpoint of labeling adult content is a closer reflection of the 
feelings of the general public.

I hope the weight of this long-standing petition is taken into account.
